Deposit Description TYPHOON, prospect located ~5.5 km SE of the major Jacinth-Ambrosia heavy mineral (HM) sands discoveries. Preliminary results indicated that the geological character and setting of the discovery was similar to the neighbouring Jacinth and Ambrosia deposits, being a foreshore deposit hosted by Ooldea sands. Drilling identified an elongate orebody with dimensions 3km long x 80-400m wide x 1-21m thick.
